RAAF Richmond Gliding Club



RAAF Richmond Gliding Club is a located at RAAF Base Richmond on the Western outskirts of Sydney, Australia. It provides gliding training to members of all skill level. From someone that doesn't know anything about Aviation to someone with a Powered Flying License extending their wings to a different skill level. We all believe that Gliding is an Excellent way to start of the Flying Career of a person as it gives you the extra required knowledge in the way the aircraft works and it is also one of the most inexpensive forms of skillful flying.

Having no engine and staying airborne is something that may not be perceived by too many people. Having hot pockets of rising thermal air to wave lift and ridge lift, the possibilities of staying up in the air are extensive.
